We are looking for an experienced fabricator/welder/panelbeater who has atleast 3 years experience within the industry.

Hours of work will be between 7-5 pm Monday to Friday (40hrs) - this position is a permanent fulltime position based in Christchurch

All candiates must have NZ work experience and have a good understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in the work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coach building - construct, modify and repair vehicle bodies, including buses, coaches, and other large vehicles, ensuring all work meets industry standards

Fabrication - create custom metal components using techniques such as cutting, bending, welding

Welding - perform MIG and Tig, welding on various materials, including steel, aluminum, ensuring strong and precise welds  (AS/NZ2980/9606.1 certificate is required)

Quality Assurance - inspect work for accuracy and durability, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Team Collaboration - work closely with design and fabrication teams to complete projects on time and to high standards

Problem solving - identify and address issues during fabrication and welding, providing effective solutions
