Due to our consistent fast expansion, we are now looking for a reliable and hardworking Credit & Risk Strategy Consultant to join us.

About the Role:
This is a key role, you will be responsible for analysing payment data, designing credit control frameworks, and advising businesses on payment-related risk.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse merchant payment trends to detect credit and operational risks.
  • Develop risk assessment models for merchants and payment gateway users.
  • Provide consulting on credit policy development, AML/CFT, and compliance.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce chargebacks and payment failures.
  • Collaborate with legal and technical teams to improve risk governance.
  • Support internal system development for risk alerts, transaction monitoring, and reconciliation.
  • Deliver reports and insights to support executive decision-making.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Law, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in credit control/risk management/fintech consulting/law consulting (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce payment systems and platforms.
  • High-level analytical, strategic thinking, and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with NZ finance regulations and credit practices.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin (preferred).
