About the Role:
This is a key role responsible for promoting, implementing, and supporting our digital payment platforms, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, online gateways, and order management tools. You’ll work closely with local businesses, online merchants, and educational institutions to ensure successful system integration and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote and implement point-of-sale (POS) systems and online payment solutions across
retail, hospitality, and education sectors.
• Develop and execute business development strategies tailored to local market conditions.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams for product integration, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Liaise with clients to assess ICT requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Assist in onboarding and implementation of payment systems, including training and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues such as transaction errors and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Conduct competitor and market research to support strategic planning.
• Oversee deployment processes, including contract management, logistics coordination, and user education.
• Facilitate localization and customization of platform features in collaboration with
development teams.
• Provide technical assistance during POS hardware/software installation, API integrations, and gateway configuration.
• Gather user feedback and relay to the product team for continuous improvement.
• Deliver bilingual support (English and Mandarin) to assist clients with operational and
technical inquiries.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, E-commerce, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ICT business development, digital payments, or ecommerce solutions (preferred).
• Demonstrated understanding of POS hardware, payment gateways, and system integrations.
• Proven experience in client relationship management and business solution delivery.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Familiarity with financial processes including settlement and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of New Zealand compliance and regulatory frameworks, including the Financial Markets Conduct Act and AML/CFT regulations.
