Job Description:

This job is required to perform:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Applies coats of plaster to interior walls, ceilings, and partitions of buildings, to
  produce finished surface, according to blueprints, architect's drawings
• Determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriers
• Mix mortar, mixing materials to create plaster, cement and other mixtures for
  application
• Measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels,
  and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens
• Straightening or levelling uneven corners, walls and ceilings
• Preparing corner beads and securing them in position
• Fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster
  fittings
• Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and
  smoothing them using wet brushes and sand paper
• Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement and render to structures using
  trowels, and levelling and smoothing coats to uniform thickness
• Plumbing and straightening corners, angles and wall and ceiling surfaces
• Applying and finishing acoustic, insulating and fireproofing materials bonded
  with plaster, plastic cement and similar materials
• Applies decorative and protective coverings of plaster, cement and similar
  materials to the interiors and exteriors of structures
• Take other relevant duties as required

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• Have at least 1 years of relevant experience in the same industry; OR
• At last Diploma level5 in construction or relevant OR
• At least bachelor’s degree in any discipline with some relevant experience
