The Role

You'll be the key contact for clients across the mid to upper North Island, focusing on industrial, agriculture, and some primary food clients.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts

  • Spend most of your time visiting clients rather than in the office – typically two trips per month, each involving 2–4 nights away.

  • Build multi-level relationships, including at the packaging plant level

  • Identify and approach prospective clients within your region and industry segment

  • Provide technical advice and solutions (mechanical/technical aptitude essential)

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and tenders

  • Analyse margins, forecast sales, and manage stock levels

  • Ensure exceptional service delivery and 100% customer satisfaction

What You’ll Bring

  • Industry experience providing bespoke solutions – Packaging, Labels, or Manufacturing

  • A can-do attitude, high energy, and a professional, approachable communication style

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Account Management, KAM, or Territory/National Sales

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Proven experience with forecasting, margin analysis, and costings

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence preparing tenders

  • Mechanical/technical aptitude

  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, or Engineering is a bonus

  • A full clean NZ Driver’s License and flexibility to travel (you manage your own schedule)
