J&C International Enterprise Limited based in Golflands, Auckland, is specialized in residential construction and renovation projects. We are looking for two carpenters to join our awesome team. 

You will be expected to work at different sites throughout the Auckland region, a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to work on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $32-$34 based on the candidates' experience and skills.

Job Description for This Position

  • Operate excavator machinery of various sizes ranging from 1.7TN to 18TN to move dirt and materials on construction sites

  • Remove soil and debris from designated building or excavation areas

  • Unload and position excavators safely in the appropriate location on site

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other workers and site supervisors

  • Determine digging sites by coordinating with the construction team

  • Must be able to operate drilling unit attachment and drill holes as per plan

  • Perform routine maintenance and basic servicing on excavation equipment

  • Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety procedures and obligations

  • Support general site operations, including loading and unloading materials

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants

  • At least three years of relevant experience in operating excavating machine is required

  • Relevant qualification or certificate is an advantage.

  • Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role

  • Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting.

  • A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress. 

  • Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
