Phnom Penh Restaurant & Cafe in Mangere Bridge currently look for two Cooks to join our team. Working hours is between 30 and 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $26 to $29 per hour, depending on level of skills and experience.

Your duties will include:

  • Prepare ingredients (thaw frozen items, fillet fish, cut and grind meat, poultry, seafood, chop vegetables etc.) 

  • Weight and measure ingredients, prepare sauces and side dishes.

  • Cook menu items following recipes and accommodate customers’ dietary requirements.

  • Portion and present food according to our standards.

  • Monitor stock level and quality, assist with ordering supplies.

  • Check oven, cooking appliance and equipment to ensure everything works well.

  • Clean and sanitize food preparation area and cooking equipment.

  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Require skills and attributes:

  • Must be available to work on night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

  • Minimum 1 year (preferable 2 years) of relevant work experience in commercial kitchen. 

  • Physically fit for heavy liftings and standing for extended periods.

  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have strong multitasking and organizational skills.

  • Reliable and punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
