We are looking for two experienced cooks for our busy Indian Restaurants in  Auckland.

Pay: Minimum $24.00 and maximum $30.00  

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed 

Work Experience: Minimum one year of relevant work experience  

Willing to work on weekends and Public holidays (Working days will be between Monday  and Sunday)  

Job Description:  

• Expert in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of all authentic Indian curries,  Tandoori dishes, Traditional Indian Sweets, and Snacks  

• Portioning food and adding dressings to ensure excellent presentation  

• Monitoring the quality of dishes from basic preparation through to final service to  customers.  

• Skilled in accommodating special dietary requirements  

• Regulating temperature-controlled cooking equipment  

• Labelling and storing ingredients and cooked items properly in refrigeration units  

• May train junior kitchen staff  

• Minimising food waste in the kitchen  

• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, in compliance with health and  safety regulations.  

• Holds and practices valid Hygiene Certification standards at all times.

• Maintains excellent personal hygiene and adheres to all food safety guidelines.
