AZAP COURIERS LIMITED - Experienced Courier Drivers (Queenstown & Surrounds)

About the Role:

• Perform daily collections and deliveries across Queenstown and beyond.
• Safely operate a range of vehicles, including vans, trucks, and forklifts.
• Assist in coordinating deliveries with other drivers for maximum efficiency.
• Load and unload freight carefully, ensuring items arrive undamaged.
• Accurately maintain delivery records and handle basic paperwork or digital scanning systems.
• Step in for out-of-town runs (e.g. Cromwell, Invercargill) when needed.
• Represent AZAP professionally when interacting with customers and the public.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for drivers who reflect

✅ Strong local knowledge – You know Queenstown streets, surrounding towns, and the best routes to get the job done efficiently.

✅ Driving capability –

• Forklift licence (OSH certified) is preferred
• NZ Class 4 licence or working towards it (essential for truck operations) is preferred
• DWRT endorsement (an advantage)

✅ Experience – at least one year of relevant work experience in courier, freight, or delivery driving roles — both light and heavy vehicles.

✅ Customer focus – You’re courteous, approachable, and able to handle queries or concerns on the spot.

✅ Reliability & Flexibility – You’re someone we can count on, ready to help with out-of-town deliveries and step up when the team needs you.

✅ Positive attitude & work ethic – Able to work under pressure, meet daily targets, and maintain high standards.
