Warehouse Storeperson

Are you organised, physically fit, and ready to roll up your sleeves? We’re on the lookout for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our growing team. If you enjoy practical work, being on your feet, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes — this could be the perfect job for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receiving deliveries, checking the items match the paperwork, and making sure nothing is damaged.
• Unloading goods from trucks or vans and sorting them in the correct areas.
• Using a computer or scanner to keep track of stock and where it's stored.
• Labelling products and putting them away in the right shelves or racks.
• Packing orders properly, weighing them if needed, and sealing boxes ready for dispatch.
• Using forklifts or other lifting equipment to move stock around, including to and from high shelves.
• Picking items for orders based on a list or system, and double-checking everything is correct.
• Helping with stocktakes and keeping track of what’s in the warehouse.
• Using trolleys, pallet jacks, or other gear to shift stock safely as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment or similar role is required
• In the absence of work experience, having a qualification at certificate level or above is strongly preferred.
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one) is an advantage
• Availability to work in shifts inlcuding weekends and on public holidays 
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
• Good attention to detail and basic computer skills
• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team
