Raj8 Holdings Ltd, a trusted neighbourhood convenience store, is looking for a skilled and motivated Store Manager to take charge of the store’s daily operations and long-term performance.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and placing orders to keep inventory well-balanced
  • Deciding what items to stock, ensuring shelves are filled with products customers want and need
  • Setting competitive prices and keeping track of market trends and customer demand
  • Overseeing cash handling, EFTPOS records, and tracking store income and expenses
  • Helping customers with product queries and ensuring they have a smooth shopping experience
  • Planning budgets, monitoring costs, and working to increase profitability
  • Organising local specials, signage, and promotional efforts to boost foot traffic and sales
  • Hiring new team members, organising shift rosters, and supervising staff performance
  • Keeping the store clean, safe, and in line with hygiene, food handling, and safety rules

What You’ll Bring:

  • NZ work Experience of working in a retail environment in a supervisory or above role for at least 1 year or more is required.
  • In the absence of work experience, holding a qualification at Diploma or above level is required.
  • Solid knowledge of retail operations, cost management, and inventory control
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team
  • Comfortable with hands-on responsibilities, including rostering, stock management, and customer service
  • Flexible to work across weekends, early mornings, and public holidays as needed.
