Production Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, sales teams, and production staff to understand product
  requirements and functional needs.
• Design cabinets, storage systems, and custom furniture based on spatial dimensions,
  usage needs, and aesthetic standards.
• Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models using design software such as
  AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp.
• Develop practical and cost-effective design solutions, considering materials,
  manufacturing processes, and production feasibility.
• Prepare production documentation, including technical specifications and assembly
  instructions.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to select appropriate materials and  components, and optimize workflow.
• Oversee prototype development and product testing to ensure compliance with quality standards and client expectations.
• Participate in new product development, design improvements, and continuous product innovation to enhance efficiency and market competitiveness.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, or a
  related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp.
• Experience in cabinet or furniture manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a solid understanding of spatial planning and
  functional design.
