Cloud 777 Cafe - Mount Wellington currently look for a hardworking and reliable cook to join us. Working hours is from 30 to 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $26 to $29 per hour, depending on level of skills and experience. 

Your duties will include:

  • Prepare ingredient such as measure ingredients, peel and chop vegetables, cut meat etc.

  • Cook menu items following recipes and accommodate customers dietary requirements. 

  • Portion and present food according to our standards.

  • Prepare salads, savouries, and sandwiches.

  • Monitor stock level and quality, assist with ordering supplies.

  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas and cooking equipment.

  • Ensure cooking appliance and equipment in working condition, report any issues.

  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Required skills and attributes:

  • Minimum 1 year (preferable 2 years) of relevant work experience in commercial kitchen. 

  • Able to start at 5am and can work on weekends.

  • Physically fit for heavy liftings and standing for extended period.

  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have strong multitasking and organizational skills.

  • Reliable and punctual, able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
