Are you a confident and technically-minded sales professional who loves building strong, long-term client relationships – and isn’t afraid to get stuck in on-site?

We’re searching for an energetic and commercially astute Account Manager | Business Development professional to champion pallet wrap and shrink film solutions for a leading NZ packaging manufacturer. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of major Food & Beverage clients across Auckland, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty – with the freedom to structure your own schedule and travel as needed (usually just 1–2 nights per month).


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • 60% Account Management / 40% New Business – balance retention with strategic growth

  • Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Site Managers to deliver tailored packaging solutions

  • Provide on-site support – taking measurements, troubleshooting with machine specialists, and delivering hands-on service

  • Act as the trusted packaging advisor – proactive, reliable, and always one step ahead

  • Own your region and client base – manage pricing, tenders, and margin performance

  • Promote NZ-made, technically advanced, and sustainable packaging solutions

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in Account Management, Sales, Territory Management, or BDM roles — within packaging, manufacturing, or a related technical industry

  • Are confident engaging with multiple stakeholders across large client organisations

  • Can navigate both the production floor and boardroom with ease — practical, presentable, and persuasive

  • Enjoy problem-solving and can manage technical or mechanical queries, working closely with machine specialists

  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, including pricing, forecasting, and margin management

  • Have exceptional attention to detail and solid reporting skills (advanced Excel essential)

  • Possess outstanding professional communication skills

  • Are reliable and trustworthy, always ready to support your clients when needed

  • Are curious, energetic, and self-motivated, with a full clean NZ Driver’s License
