Our company is looking for multiple Taxi- Drivers to operate company taxis in the Auckland
region, ensuring quality service to customers. The candidate will be required to travel within
the Auckland region to perform their duties.
Job responsibilities:
• Operate company vehicles to safely transport clients to scheduled destinations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance to keep vehicles clean, functional, and presentable.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety policies and traffic regulations.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey.
• Review and update all required vehicle documentation to maintain compliance.
• Utilize GPS and route planning tools to identify the most effective travel paths.
• Deliver courteous, professional service to clients at all times.
• Drive responsibly, maintaining full compliance with all road safety laws.
• Monitor fuel levels and ensure vehicles are refuelled as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs when necessary.
• Record and report monthly mileage and any vehicle-related issues.
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 - $30 per hour.
Eligibility & Requirements:
• A valid driver’s license is required; overseas licenses must be at least two years old.
• A clean driving record is mandatory.
• A P endorsement is required for this, but if you don’t currently have one, we’ll be happy to assist you in obtaining it if selected.
• Must be available Sunday to Thursday between 4 AM and midnight.
• Must be willing to work late nights until 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Work hours range from 30 to 60 hours per week, requiring flexibility and commitment.
• As per NZTA guidelines, drivers may be required to work up to 13-hour shifts.
• Travel to nearby regions may be required based on customer needs.
• Weekend availability is essential.
• Must be physically fit, hardworking, and passionate.
• Should remain calm, composed, and possess strong interpersonal skills
