We are looking for an Retail Supervisor to join our busy store in Moerewa, Northland. This business is open 7 days a week and the role require working a variable roster from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards (but not limited to):

●   Lead the team and ensure an exceptionally high level of customer service during the shift

●   Assist the Manager in purchasing/ordering products from various suppliers as per requirement and the following budget

●  Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as required to maintain availability.

●  Ensure that all products and services are accurately priced and appropriately displayed to enhance the customer experience

●  Connect with customers and taking random customer feedback to assess their satisfaction regarding customer service

●    Respond to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services

●    Assist the Manager with the smooth implementation of policies and procedures

●    Assist with creating rosters for employees

●   Support with the team’s management, including engagement of the team, development, training, recruitment, and other people related tasks

●    Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safety standards

Qualification, Experience and Attributes Required

●    1-year work experience in retail.

●    A relevant qualification at NZQA Level 2 or higher would be advantageous although not essential.

●     Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●      Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required.

●      Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
