Position Available: Delivery Driver (Class 1)

Location: Auckland Region
Payrate: $26 to $30 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 45

Key Requirements:

  • A valid New Zealand or equivalent International Class 1 license Or Minimum of 1 year of experience Or Level 3 or above qualification.

  • Familiarity with logbook systems, fatigue management, and safe loading practices

  • Basic numeracy and literacy for delivery documentation

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 1 delivery vehicles for scheduled freight routes within Auckland and beyond

  • Load, unload, and secure goods for transport, ensuring cargo safety and integrity

  • Complete driver logs, delivery records, and transport documentation accurately and timely

  • Communicate with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues

  • Adhere to all New Zealand transport safety and compliance regulations

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety checks; report any vehicle or cargo defects immediately

  • Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers or warehouse staff
