We are a New Zealand-based retail store specializing in authentic Japanese products, including cosmetics, snacks, baby care items, and diapers. All of our products are imported directly from Japan, ensuring genuine quality and high standards across a wide range of categories, such as beauty, skincare, health foods, and baby essentials.
With both physical stores and an online shop, we are committed to providing our customers with excellent service and a convenient shopping experience, allowing you to enjoy an authentic Japanese lifestyle with ease.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the store, including staff supervision
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and merchandising
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times
- Develop staff rosters, manage training, and monitor performance
- Implement sales strategies to maximise profitability
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene compliance in the workplace
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a local retail supervision/management role OR relevant business degree
- Proven ability to manage a team and work independently
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong customer service focus and problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with multicultural work environments is an advantage
