Engineering Lead – Factory Mill (Day Shift)
Location: Christchurch
Shift: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
Employment Type: Full-time
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Engineering Lead to join a busy factory team in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead maintenance, upgrades, and improvements across machinery and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily engineering and maintenance tasks
  • Plan and manage preventative maintenance schedules
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and manage timely repairs
  • Identify and drive efficiency improvements across equipment and processes
  • Coordinate with production teams and external contractors
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven leadership and ability to manage on-the-floor priorities
  • Practical, reliable, and focused on safety
  • Good communicator with a proactive approach
