Key Requirements

  • Level 4 or higher qualification; or at least 2 years of experience.

  • Ability to oversee on‑farm capital and labour planning

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, coordinate, and perform fruit production operations from planting through to harvest and dispatch

  • Maintain optimal growth conditions with careful pruning, fertilising, irrigation management, and pest control

  • Manage on‑farm infrastructure, including irrigation, fencing, and equipment maintenance

  • Maintain crop performance records, monitor market demand, and contribute to budget or capital planning

  • Supervise, train, and manage workers or contractors on site

  • Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards and policies

Position Available: Maintenance Assistant Worker

Payrate: $25 to $30 per hour
Minimum Hours/Week: 30
Maximum Hours/Week: 40

Key Requirements

  • At least 6 months or more of experience; or Level 2 or 3 or above qualification.

  • Physically fit and comfortable doing outdoor work on orchards

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in canopy structure maintenance: repair posts, wires, trellis, and orchard infrastructure

  • Operate hand tools and light equipment for orchard care and upkeep

  • Perform seasonal support tasks such as spraying, mulching, mowing, weed control, and irrigation checks

  • Report hazards, infrastructure damage, or operational issues to supervisors

  • Assist in material movement, stock rotation, and site cleanliness

  • Comply with all health and safety, biosecurity, and operational guidelines
