Job Title: Plumber

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
Cut, assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures
Install waste disposal, underground sanitary, drainage, and water supply piping systems
Install and maintain water supply system
Utilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system
Dig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems
Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders
May assist in earthmoving machine operation
Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards

Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform

Pay: Minimum $28.00 / hour   Maximum $32.00 / hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week:  permanent full time, Minimum 30 hours  

Requirements for the job:

·         At least 2 years of relevant work experience

·         Be physically fit and healthy

·         Full time availability, may work on the weekends

·         No criminal record

·         Candidates need to be NZ citizen/resident
