Job Description: looking for a Foreperson who is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers on a job site.
Can ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to
quality and safety standards.
This job is required to perform:
- Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise daily operations and activities of site workers.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project
specifications. - Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and drawings.
- Allocate tasks to crew members and ensure proper use of tools and
equipment. - Monitor work progress and provide direction and support as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other site supervisors.
- Enforce health and safety standards on site.
- Maintain records of materials, hours worked, incidents, and progress.
- Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices.
- Report project issues or delays to the Site/Project Manager promptly.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the same industry; OR
- At last Diploma level5 in construction or relevant OR
- At least bachelor’s degree in any discipline with some relevant experience
AND - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
