Work Location and Vacancy details

Location: Auckland 

Permanent Position, Full-time

Pay rate: min $30.00 / hour max $35.00 / hour

Minimum 30 hours per week would be guaranteed

Key tasks & responsibilities:

 

·         Take the drawings from Manager to ascertain material requirements

·         Select & work on materials as approved in the work order.

·         Cut & shape the timber as per drawings

·         Joining of various parts to specific shape & size as per drawings

·         Assembling various parts to fabricate cabinets & furniture as per order

·         Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves

·         May work on customized requirements

·         May repair old kitchens / furniture at customer's site

·         Any other duties the employer reasonably may require employee to perform

 Requirements for the job:

 

·         NZQF Level 4 qualification, or at least two years of relevant experience in the same field or industry

·         Ability to understand instructions given

·         Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity 

·         Applicants for this position should be NZ citizens or NZ residency visa holders.
