Position: Workshop Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

- Supervising maintenance personnel and coordinating daily workshop activities to meet operational targets.

- Studying technical drawings and specifications to determine appropriate materials, methods, and sequences of operation.

- Fitting and assembling metal components to fabricate production machinery and equipment.

- Ensuring the accuracy, clearance, and fit of fabricated parts using precision measuring instruments.

- Diagnosing mechanical faults, overseeing operational maintenance, and managing the overhaul and repair of equipment.

- Implementing safety standards and operational procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

- Conducting quality checks and approving completed mechanical work.

- May be responsible for on-site installation and erection of machines and equipment.

- Reporting on workshop performance and recommending improvements to optimize production and maintenance processes.

 

Requirements: 

3 years relevant experience or relevant qualification is needed.

Hours: 30 to 50

Hourly Rate: 28 to 35

Location: Auckland
