As a crucial member of our cleaning crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of commercial kitchen ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, fans, and vents in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

·        Conduct visual inspections to identify and report any issues or potential hazards in the kitchen exhaust systems.

·        Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and any necessary repairs or replacements.

·        Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at various commercial kitchen locations. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines.

·        Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address any specific requirements or concerns.

 

Position Details:

•       Title: Vatsman - Hood and Duct Cleaner

•       Location: Wellington Region

•       Hours: Full-time, Permanent Position

•       30 hours per week

 

Important Requirement

·        Willing to work night 11pm to early morning

·        Willing to work on weekends and on public holidays

·        If required willing to drive the company vehicle

·        Willing to go through drug-check test

 

Qualifications:

·        1 year work experience in commercial cleaning.

·        Hold knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines related to cleaning.

·        Ability to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

·        Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

·        Excellent customer service orientation skills.
