A full time permanent WAREHOUSE AND MATERIALS MANAGER required for our busy company. The minimum work hour will be 30 per week and maximum will be 50 per week. You MUST mention whether you are a New Zealand citizen or resident. 

Job Responsibility:

  •  Lead the warehouse team, ensuring effective coordination of receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch operations
  • Oversee inventory control, materials planning, and warehouse operations
  •    Manage sourcing, purchasing, and overseas supplier relationships
  • Negotiating, building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, check all materials/goods quality and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse processes to optimize storage space, product flow, and inventory control.
  •  Inspect items for damage or faults and adjust inventory accordingly and resolving shortages and backlogs.
  •  Processing purchase orders, receiving shipments, issuance of materials and verifying invoices.
  •  Generate regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, and invoice summaries
  • Evaluate vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Ensure efficient order processing and delivery of materials that meet customer expectations and business timelines
  •  Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures in the warehouse and during material handling.
  •   Assist with warehouse sales, including working weekends where required, working on-call
  •  Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance

 

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, at least 3 years in materials control                     
  • Strong understanding of materials controlling and warehouse operation                      
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software, accounting software (XERO) and MS Office suite
  • Physically fit with a willingness to be hands-on, lead-from-the-front attitude               
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills                                                
  • Self-motivated with a high level of personal discipline                                                
  • Bengali Language is preferable                                                                                
  • Full NZ Driver License is a must
