Renovator wanted in Wellington

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Renovator to join our team. You will be responsible for improving, restoring, and updating buildings, including residential homes and commercial spaces, to make them more functional, attractive, and up to modern standards.

Your tasks may include:

Demolition and Preparation:

  •           Safely remove old structures, fittings, walls, or flooring
  •           Prepare surfaces or structures for new work

Repairing or Rebuilding:

  •       Fix or replace walls, ceilings, roofs, floors, windows, and doors
  •        Install or upgrade plumbing, electrical, and insulation systems (sometimes done by licensed  tradespeople)

Installing Fixtures and Finishes:

  • Install kitchen cabinets, bathroom fittings, lighting, etc.
  • Paint, tile, plaster, or apply wallpaper

Coordinating Tradespeople:

  • Work alongside or supervise electricians, plumbers, etc.
  • Make sure everything complies with building codes and safety regulations

Final Touches:

  • Inspect work for quality
  • Clean up and hand over the completed space to the client

Experience and Skills required:

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial and/or residential renovation
  • Carpentry, plastering and painting skills
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Physical Fitness and strength
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving and project management abilities.
