TONG XIN NZ LTD is gearing up for multiple building projects throughout Auckland and is currently seeking qualified and skilled Carpenters. If you're an experienced builder, this is a great opportunity to join us and deliver quality work on varied sites.
What we offer you:

  • Full time position, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.
What we need from you:
Duties Include:
  • Framing, installing windows/doors, cabinetry, and finishing carpentry
  • Reading and interpreting building plans and technical drawings
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Maintaining a clean and safe job site
  • Assisting with demolition or site prep where needed
  • Ensuring work is completed to building code standards and site specifications 
  • Carry out carpentry work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assist the site manager with general labouring tasks, including site cleaning and material handling when needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and meets high-quality standards. 
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and site management.
Skills and knowledge
  • At least 2 years of carpenter or construction builder work experience or NZ Certificate in Carpentry Certificate L4
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Basic tools and reliable transport highly desirable
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
