We’re on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Storeperson to help lead our team and deliver a top-notch shopping experience for every customer. If you enjoy working hands-on, supporting staff, and being part of a motivated team, this is the role for you. This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate retail staff to ensure daily duties are carried out effectively and customers are served promptly
  • Support the team with handling customer issues, product questions, or complaints in a professional manner
  • Allocate responsibilities across team members and prepare rosters to cover store operating hours
  • Assist in the hiring process by participating in interviews and helping to train new staff on store procedures and expectations
  • Provide on-the-job support to staff when dealing with complex sales or challenging service situations
  • Review returned items or complaints and decide on action according to store policy
  • Keep an eye on stock levels, assist with inventory checks, and report to the manager when restocking is needed
  • Make sure all products are properly labelled, priced, and neatly displayed on the shop floor
  • Help maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all staff follow store safety and security protocols

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualification at certificate or above level is required to efficiently carry out the role responsibilities.
    OR
    Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar retail or customer-facing environment in the absence of any qualification.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A customer-first approach with the ability to resolve issues calmly and fairly
  • Reliable, organised, and confident in giving direction
  • Able to work flexible hours during the morning, afternoon, evenings and late evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays
