We are currently seeking 2 Carpenters to join our construction team. This role is ideal for individuals with at least 2 years of carpentry experience who are eager to support qualified carpenters and foremen on a range of residential and commercial projects across the Auckland Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand simple building plans and drawings. 

  • Measure, cut, and shape basic materials such as timber, laminates, and fibreglass.

  • Construct building frames, including walls, floors, and doors, under supervision.

  • Assemble and fasten materials using basic hand and power tools.

  • Build or repair wooden structures like doors, cabinets, and floors under guidance 

  • Set up simple concrete formwork as needed

  • Work closely with senior carpenters and foremen, following instructions carefully.

  • Travel between various job sites as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant carpentry experience

  • Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn

  • Physically fit and capable of working in construction environments

  • Able to pass health and criminal background checks if required

  • Legally entitled to work in New Zealand and available for immediate start

  • Flexibility to work additional hours or Saturdays if needed

Pay Rate: $28 – $32 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent (minimum 30 hours/week guaranteed)
