Nice New Kitchen Limited is a well-established cabinet making company. Due to our business expansion, we are looking for Cabinet Makers to join our friendly team in Auckland.

 

What you will do but not limited to the following:

 

  • Studying design plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures
  • Selecting timbers and other materials, and preparing layouts
  • Measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape
  • Preparing and assembling the wood parts to make cabinet furniture or form sections of build-in furniture
  • Erecting and installing cabinets, drawers, shelves and boards
  • Fitting and repairing hardware, such as hinges, locks and catches
  • Refurbishing and repairing the existing wood furniture and fittings
  • Maintain and clean company power tools and equipment
  • Ensuring that all activities undertaken are compliant with related regulations
  • Prompt reporting of equipment defects and damage to management

 

Suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

 

  • Either have at least two years of relevant experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification
  • Good communication and professional skills
  • Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking
  • Keen to work well within a team setting
  • Great attention to details

 

What we can offer:

 

  • Full time employment: we have worksite in Auckland
  • Hourly rate: $30/hour gross - $33/hour gross
  • Hours of week per week: a minimum of 30 hours, no more than 40 hours per week depending upon site condition, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Over time maybe expected
