Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, carpentry, and general building work, including framing, roofing, flooring, and finishing. You will work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Construct, install, and repair wooden structures (e.g, frameworks, roofs, floors, doors, cabinets).

·      Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans.

·      Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials (wood, drywall, fiberglass, etc.).

·      Install fixtures, fittings, and finishes (e.g., trim, molding, staircases).

·      Perform rough and finish carpentry work.

·      Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

·      Follow building codes and safety regulations.

·      Collaborate with contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople.

·      Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or structures.

·      Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Requirements:

·      At least 2 years’ experience as a Carpenter.

·      Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.

·      Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods.

·      Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.

·      Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.

·      Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
