We are looking for 3 skilled and experienced carpenters to join our busy team. You will need to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to be qualified for this role.

Location of Work: Auckland

Number of Vacancies: 3

Type of employment: full time, 30-40 hours per week

Days required: Monday to Saturday  

Pay: $30 - $33 per hour  

Your duties will include:
• Construct and install temporary structures and supports including scaffolds for workers to stand on, boxing used as for wet concrete area, forms for concrete foundations and timber structures
• Read drawings and plans to determine dimensions and materials required.
• Plan how the work will be done using measuring and marking equipment.
• Cut and shape building materials using hand and power tools.
• Construct the frame, install rafters, joists, sub-flooring, wall sheathing and prefabricated wall panels.
• Install hardwood flooring, staircase, shelves, cabinets, windows, window and door trim, other woodwork and hardware.
• Fasten work together using nails, screws, glue and staples.
• Verities work using levels, plumb bobs, rulers and squares.
• Explain steps, provide directions and answer questions about the construction processes to employees and subcontractors.

Successful applicants will have:

·      At least 2-year experience of relevant work experience

·      A relevant qualification is preferred but not essential

·      Able to meet deadline and work under pressure

·      Great work ethic and a hard-working attitude

·      Can produce high quality work and focus on quality at all times
