Co-Newhouse Limited is a specialist in Residential/Commercial construction projects. We are seeking 3 junior Carpenters to join our dynamic team. 

 

Position: Carpenter 

Hourly Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour (depending on work experience) 

Number of Positions: 3 positions available

Job Location: Auckland

Employment Type: Full-Time Position（minimum 30 hours）

 

Job Description for This Position

You will be expected to work at various sites throughout the Auckland region for a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of weekend work as well.


Study the specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare the project layout and determine the dimensions and the materials required

Shape or cut the materials to the specified measurements using hand tools, machines, power saws, or any other equipment needed

Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes

Make doors, window frames, staircases, and fitted furniture as required

Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:

At least 18 months of relevant experience is required.
Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role.
Be physically fit, as the job involves heavy lifting.
A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.
No drug use history
