We are looking for a Carpenter to join our dedicated team in Hamilton. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week.
As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in constructing, erecting, installing, renovating, and repairing various structures and fixtures made from timber and other materials in residential and commercial renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Interpret drawings and building specifications to determine project requirements, materials, and construction methods.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials to construct or repair frameworks, partitions, floors, walls, roofs, doors, windows, and fittings.

Install structures and fixtures such as cabinets, staircases, trims, and wallboards in accordance with plans and codes.

Renovate and restore existing buildings by removing, replacing, or reinforcing timber and structural components.

Ensure all work is aligned, level, and built to the highest standard, maintaining quality and safety on-site.

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, complying with relevant health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with other trades and project managers to meet deadlines and ensure client satisfaction.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of two years of work experience as a Carpenter.

Competent in framing, roofing, flooring, and finishing work.

Experience with timber, plywood, wallboard, and other construction materials.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to craftsmanship.

Good understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction techniques.
