Kaile Limited, established in 2011 and based in Auckland,operates in the construction industry with a focus on building and house foundation works. To meet client service requirements and ensure high-quality project delivery, the company requires a skilled Digger Operator to perform precise excavation and site preparation for its foundation porjects.

Pay rate: NZD minimum $29.66 per hour - NZD maximum $33.00 per hour 

Minimum Guaranteed hours of work:

  1. guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week
  2. Work between Monday to Saturday, 7:30am-6:00pm
  3. May be required to work up to a maximum of 50 hours per week (exclusive of overtime)

About the role:

Kaile Limited is seeking an experienced Digger Operator to join our team. You will be working on a variety of projects including demolition, site works, earthworks, and final trim excavations. This is an excelent opportunity to join a supportive team and work on challenging and rewarding projects. 

Key responsibilities:

  1. Operate excavator machines safely and efficiently 
  2. Undertake demolition or site work projects 
  3. Perform final trim excavations and cuts using stringlines or lasers
  4. Spread and move aggregate from stockpiles
  5. Complete bulk earthworks and load trucks 
  6. Work in and around buildings and alongside subcontractors 
  7. Assist with ground works as required 

Minimum qualifications, skills and experiences:

  1. At least 3 years of relevant industry work experience
  2. Skilled in operating excavators and related machinary 
  3. Ability to follow health and safety procedures at all times 
  4. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
