Job Description：

We are looking for 5 roofers to join our busy team. 

You need 

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience. 

  • requisite knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade 

  • to demonstrate knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations for this role 

  • to be friendly and approachable 

  • to understand and deliver good customer service 

  • good attention to detail 

  • to demonstrate good time management and project management skills 

Day to day responsibilities 

  • Cutting, folding, and installing roofing iron and flashings. 

  • Removal of existing roofing and at times disposal and/or site clean-up. 

  • Ensuring that all health and safety protocols adhere. 

  • Perform re-roofing jobs, gutter and downpipe replacement, as well as roof repairs. 

  • Other repair work where necessary.

  • Check measuring of jobs. 

  • Supervising and making sure our trades are accountable, whilst ensuring all work is of a high quality. 

  • Liaising with customers on site. 

  • Identify and implement efficiencies for the trade teams 

  • Assist with planning out jobs and ensure we get the most out of each team. 

  • Motivate the team and ensure morale is kept high.

You will need to travel among different worksites within in Auckland region. Your each shift is 8 hours. However, you may expect to work over-time in accordance with your team tasks. You will work between 35 hours and 60 hours per week.

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $25.00 per hour 

Schedule: 8 hour shift
