About Us:
Roya Construction Limited is a reputable Auckland-based building completion company, specialising in delivering high-quality finishes across residential and commercial projects. Due to business expansion and the departure of existing staff, we are seeking five qualified carpenters to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  1.          Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install timber, wood products, and other building materials according to project specifications.
  2.          Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical plans with precision.
  3.          Construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, furniture, cabinetry, and other fixtures.
  4.          Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
  5.          Inspect and maintain the quality of work at all stages, ensuring adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
  6.          Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
  7.          Assist in sourcing materials and ensuring efficient use to minimize waste.
  8.          Provide recommendations for improvements, problem-solving, and innovative solutions on-site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter in residential or commercial construction projects for at least two years.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, techniques, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
