We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Fleet Service Tyre Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, day in and day out to a loyal customer base. This role will assist customers with their tyre needs and performing all duties in an efficient and safe manner..

Core Tasks:
● Customer Fleet checks
● Repair and/or replace tyres as instructed, following all Health and Safety policies.
● Liaise with customers and managers to ensure Customers’ needs are met.
● Stock Control as directed.
● Vehicle and workshop housekeeping as necessary.
● General duties as necessary and directed.
● The job is entered into the tablet system as soon as each job is completed, while still at the job. If the customer does not appear in the tablet, the job is to be entered under “unknown customer” with all information gathered. If you are unable to find the stock required for the job in the tablet, you must still start the job and contact the office for stock information.
● Health and Safety checks of equipment and vehicle, as directed.
● Write up and organise retreads as directed.
● Fitting and balancing of tyres
● Work autonomously with limited management input
● Other tasks to meet the overall objectives of the company.
Other Duties:
● General cleaning of the workshop.
● Ensuring customers’ vehicles are returned clean and presentable.
● General administration as required, such as ordering parts and stock control.

Person Specification:
● At least one year of relevant experience.
● NZ unrestricted, manual driver’s licence or equivalent (essential)
● Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and First Aid practices (desirable)
● EFTPOS systems knowledge (desirable)

● Must be NZ Citizen, NZ Resident or eligible to work in NZ.
This is a full-time permanent role, and the hourly pay rate is between NZ$25 and NZ$30, depending on experience. The work hours are from 40 hours minimum to 50 hours maximum per week, and they are to be worked between Monday and Sunday, between 8 am and 5.30 pm, as well as being on an on-call after-hours roster.
