Tasks you may carry out:

-       Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in small engines.

-       Disassembling and removing engine assemblies to inspect parts for wear and damage.

-       Fixing or replacing worn or defective components and reassembling mechanical parts.

-       Conducting routine maintenance services, such as oil changes and tune-ups, to ensure optimal engine functionality.

-       Testing and fine-tuning parts after repairs to verify correct operation.

-       Evaluating equipment and outlining necessary repairs to ensure compliance and enhance performance.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Have at least 1 year’s work experience in the same field/industry, OR
  • Have a relevant NZ level 4 qualification or equivalent
  • Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions

·      Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically

·      A "can-do" attitude
