We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fleet Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our courier business based in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated to oversee the management, coordination, and smooth operation of our vehicle fleet.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

 

1)    Organising the purchase, leasing, and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel.

 

2)    Liaising with clients to understand requirements, provide advice on vehicle types, purchase or hire rates, obligations, and resolve complaints.

 

3)    Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules.

 

4)    Ensuring goods are stored and transported under conditions that maintain their quality.

 

5)    Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods.

 

6)    Maintaining accurate business records and preparing operational statements and reports.

 

7)    Coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading, and unloading of vehicles.

 

8)    Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

 

Qualification, Experience, and Attributes Required:

 

1)    The applicant must have atleast 2 years of relevant experience.

2)    Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

3)    Excellent communication and client service skills.

4)    Ability to lead, coordinate, and work in a fast-paced environment.

5)    Knowledge of vehicle leasing, purchasing, and maintenance processes.

6)    Registration or licensing may be required.

7)    Must be reliable, proactive, and have a hands-on attitude.

 

Pay and Benefit

 

·       Full-time permanent employment.

·       Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.

·       Hourly rate ranges between $32-$35
