Master Pest Control Technician - Manager

Based 10mins south of Rotorua, we are expanding our team to support our mission of Predator Free 2050 and to meet growing demand across residential, commercial, and specialist pest control services.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pest Control Master Technician with at least 4 years’ practical pest management experience and administration and operational management experience to step into a leadership role. This position combines technical expertise with team management and client engagement.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering pest control treatments including heat and freeze, MPI-compliant services, and installation of 24/7 monitoring systems.
• Designing and implementing pest management strategies in line with PMANZ and industry regulations.
• Leading and supporting a small team, including training, scheduling, and ensuring high service standards.
• Managing branch operations, supporting office functions, and assisting with sales, budgeting, and stock control.
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Pest Manager Licence or qualification (essential).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in pest management.
• Administration and operational management experience
• Strong knowledge of pest identification, biology, and integrated pest management practices.
• Sound leadership and organisational skills, able to manage workflow and team performance.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal), with strong customer focus.
• Computer literacy and ability to work with IoT and digital reporting systems.
• A clean criminal record and full NZ driver’s licence.
