Specialising in outdoor tours, we proudly serve as certified guides with official permission from the New Zealand Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ensuring a safe and thrilling experience for all our guests. 

We are seeking a dedicated Tour/Driver Guide to join our team and help deliver outstanding service to our clients for the busy upcoming summer season.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Hospitality is a key – Greet and entertain tourists throughout the tour experience.
  • Leadership – Lead and manage guided tours, providing clear and engaging commentary.
  • Strong Organisational Skills – Plan itineraries and coordinate transport, accommodation, and entry to attractions.
  • Knowledge – Answer tourists’ questions about the site confidently.
  • Safety First – Safely drive tourists to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws. 

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of three years proven relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of New Zealand and ability to provide commentary
  • Hold a Passenger Endorsement on a full New Zealand driver license
  • Fluency in Japanese is preferred (a large portion of our clients are from Japan)
  • Willingness to work weekends and over the Christmas periods (this is our peak season)
  • A positive outlook and a friendly attitude
  • Be reasonably fit, as you will be required to walk and lead tourists, and occasionally lift their luggage

 

What we offer:

Wage: $25 to $32 per hour, dependent on skills and experience.

Working Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week.

Location: Henderson, Auckland. You will be required to guide tourists within Auckland area.
