We are looking for a Laborer to join our small team. The position is full-time and can start straight away. Hours are flexible and may include night shifts and weekends depending on the job orders. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading and moving garden supplies and equipement
  • Preparing garden sites and plots using hand tools and machines
  • Assisting with planting and transplanting flowers. shrubs, trees and lawns
  • Maintaining gardens by watering, weeding and mowing lawns
  • Cleaning gardens and removing rubbish
  • Assisting with propagating, planting and potting seeds, bulbs an cuttings
  • Tending plants by hand watering and weeding
  • Adjusting mist irrigation systems, shade and ventilation
  • Harvesting and packaging plants for sale and transport

Qualifications:

Have at least Secondary Education or at least level 1 qualification

Hours: Minimum guaranteed hours of 30 per week.

Hourly rate or Salary band: $23.50 - $29.66 per hour.
