Leo D Painters Limited is based in Auckland and we are looking for three Painter Assistant/General Construction Workers for our residential projects, Renovation and New built within Auckland region.
You key Responsibilities include :
  • Assist the Painter to carry out and complete painting tasks like scraping, sanding cleaning to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites
  • Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding
  • Prepare Building sites by cleaning hazards and obstacles.
  • Maintain health and safety regulations as per the company policy
  • Taking care of painting material and tools
  • Assist Carpenters and other  construction professionals like Plumber, Electrician, Tileretc. to carry out the construction work efficiently.
This will include
  • Mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar
  • Taking care of building material and tools
  • Assisting with erecting walls and roof framing
  • Assisting with floor concrete foundation and pour concrete into slabs
  • Assisting with wall bracing, building paper and installation of external windows and doors.
  • Assisting with Gib fixing and skirting
  • Assisting with installation of mid floor
  • Assisting with installation of internal doors, door locks and joinery on site
  • Spreading and levelling soil, gravel and sand on roads and driveways, trench bottom sandsimilar locations
  • Assisting with assembling and installing piping, valves and fittings
  • Assisting with installing fixtures such as toilets, wash basins and sprinkler systems
  • Other duties that may be allocated to you by manager/site supervisor/director related toconstruction project/site our company is working on and is allocated to you.
Requirements:
  • Age 18 years or older.
  • Physically Fit able to lift heavy weight continuously whenever required
  • Some relevant experience
  • Ability to work in a Multicultural Environment.
  • Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
  • Reliable and flexible to change.
  • Must have a full driver license .
  • Have thier own vehicle. 
Hours : Minimum 30 hours per week.
Salary: NZD$ 23.50-25.50  per hour
Please note, this is a full-time position with rostered/split shifts, from Monday to Saturday.Applicant should be available as per the rostered shifts and late night shifts upto 4 AM (Whenever required).
