We’re seeking a skilled Industrial Painter with proven experience in heavy machinery painting to join our team in Tokoroa. This hands-on role involves preparing, priming, and spray-painting large-scale equipment and machinery used in industrial and forestry environments. Key Responsibilities:

·       Surface preparation including sanding, grinding, and masking

·       Applying primers and industrial-grade coatings using spray equipment

·       Operating safely in a workshop and yard environment

·       Working to job specs, paint thickness standards, and tight deadlines

·       Performing minor touch-ups and paint repairs as needed


What You’ll Bring:

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial or heavy machinery painting

·       Competency with airless spray guns and conventional painting tools

·       Solid understanding of surface prep and industrial coating systems

·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·       Forklift or EWP tickets a bonus (but not essential)
