Flat Bush Bakery in Clover Park currently look for two hardworking and reliable bakers to join us. Working hours is from 30 to 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $29 to $31 per hour, depending on level of skills and experience. 

Require skills and attributes:

  • Must start at 4am and available to work on weekends and public holidays 

  • Minimum 2 years (preferable 3 years) relevant work experience in commercial kitchen

  • Physically fit for heavy liftings and standing for extended periods

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Have strong multitasking skills and organisational skills

  • Reliable and punctual, able to work independently as well as in a team

Your duties will include:

  • Produce fresh breads, buns and doughs

  • Produce fresh sweets such as slides, muffins, sponges etc.

  • Produce fresh pastries such as pies, tarts, sausage rolls etc. 

  • Manage presentation and decoration of baked goods

  • Monitor baking ovens, maintain the cleanliness of equipment and workspace

  • Assess and improve any products when seen fit to do so

  • Liaise with manager on any concerns or suggestions

  • Perform any other related duties
