Construction Workers

Samar Construction, a well established construction company providing a range of services for new home construction and renovation work. As a Construction Workers you will be carrying out the instructions given by Project Manager, Site Supervisor and LBP and doing following tasks:

Key tasks:

• Taking apart or constructing scaffolding, bracing and other temporary structures for the construction site
• Prepare for the construction site, loading, unloading of material.
• Assist tradesmen and machine operators in construction projects
• Erect and break up scaffolding, ramps etc.
• Unload and carry materials at construction sites
• Use equipment to break old forms and structures
• To demolish structures according to the instructions
• Prepare and apply construction materials to build structures or fill gaps
• Smooth and level new concrete or other materials
• Clean out site from debris and discarded material

Role requirement:

Experience is preferred but not essential. Basic training will be provided. 

Ability to operate hand held equipment

Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material

Able to work in a team

Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination

Good work attitude and good communication skills

Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload and can work outdoor in hot and cold season.

Quality workmanship and eye for detail

Ability to work flexible hours

Full-time permanent role (minimum 30 hours of work) with a potential to earn $23.50 to $28 dollars per hour depending on skills and experience.

A pre-employment medical, criminal history and drug and alcohol screen is necessary.

Valid Class 1 Drviers Licence required to commute to work sites.
