Job description

·         Managing the procurement, upkeep, and fuel supply for transport vehicles and associated equipment​

·         Communicating with clients to identify their needs, offering guidance and details on vehicle models, purchase or rental costs, relevant responsibilities, and addressing customer complaints​

·         Accepting customer orders and bookings, as well as designing and carrying out transportation timetables​

·         Guaranteeing that goods are stored and transported under conditions that preserve their quality standards​

·         Making arrangements for the pickup and delivery of both vehicles and goods​

·         Keeping accurate business records and compiling operational summaries and reports​

·         Overseeing compliance with occupational health and safety rules and guidelines​

·         Manages and oversees the operations of a transport enterprise that runs a fleet of vehicles for carrying goods and passengers.

·         Performing other reasonable duties as required by the employer.

Position Details

  • Location: Auckland
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Pay Rate: $27.00–$35.00 per hour
  • Days Required: 5–6 days per week, roster may apply
  • Hours Per Week: Minimum 30 hours

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, or a NZQF Diploma qualification in a relevant field from New Zealand, or an equivalent overseas qualification.
