GJ Air Tech  Ltd is seeking two air conditioning installers to fulfill the workloads in Auckland. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning equipment and systems for residential and commercial settings. 

You will take the following job duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements

Lay out installation reference points and prepare work area 

Use hand tools and power tools to drill holes, install mounting brackets, and cut, bend thread piping 

Install, connect and test air conditioning equipment and systems

Install and repair components such as compressors, motors, and condensers, evaporators, and controls

Perform system checks, pressure tests, and leak detection to ensure proper operation 

Charge and fill systems, following regulations and safety guidelines 

Diagnose issues and perform adjustments, repairs, or replacements as needed 

Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and system performance 

Comply with building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements 

Job requirements: 

At least two years of relevant working experience is mandatory (NZ working experience is preferable) 

Strong technical knowledge or refrigeration principles, mechanical systems, and electrical components 

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings 

Strong problem solving skills and attention to details 

Physical ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipments
